A movie that follows the classic ”slasher film” formula. Complete with a sword wielding serial killer¸ bumbling gum shoe type detectives and a string of cute¸ albeit ditzy female victims and their horny boyfriends. Meanwhile¸ we meet a string of a unique and eccentric mix of usual suspects that include Jeremy¸ the lovable ”village idiot” who used to be a sword swallower¸ the local pervert and an angry Tele Sevalis looking¸ turtle neck wearing pimp like manager¸ who you’ll love to hate. It’s classic and predictable¸ although entertaining¸ up until the end¸ when a nice unsuspecting twist finishes it cleverly. The ending screen is perfect¸ making it a shame to not have seen it at an actual drive-in. Highly recommended!
